Modules
Students are required to complete the following minimum amount of modules according to her/his program:
- Doctoral students: 2 mandatories + 5 optional modules
- Master students: 1 mandatory + 3 optional modules
Additionally, the modules Seminaries I and II and Guided Study I and II are also required, allowing the students to develop and discuss his/her research with other researches.
The period of each module is 48 hours along with 16 weeks within one semester. We advise full/part-time students to limit their study to three/one modules per period.

OTHER OPTIONAL MODULES
Students are allowed to complete credits for optional modules by taking courses offered by other graduate programs at ITA and ICT-UNIFESP. Modules from other institutions may be accepted, but they must be analyzed individually by the PPG-PO.
